
POD (Pelican Outreach and Discipleship)
A large group of pelicans traveling together is called a pod of pelicans. In 2025, BMP created a parent group called POD (Pelican Outreach and Discipleship). This is our version of a PTA or HSA and is an opportunity for parents to come together in a large group and directly engage in the school community, to network with one another, and support the school through volunteering and fundraising activities. POD is a school organization led by parents to meet some of the needs that our school and every school has.

POD meets at least once a month and has coordinated the following activities:

BMP asks each family as part of the community to volunteer at least 20 hours of time to the school each year. POD is a great way to engage in the community, meet other parents, and take care of those hours. Reach out to the school office for more information.
