Grades 3-5

From third through fifth grade, students begin to recognize how they impact the world around them. Building on the strong foundation established in the earlier years, the Core Knowledge curriculum helps students make meaningful connections between what they learn and their place in both their local and global communities. Through content-rich, knowledge-based instruction paired with critical thinking and problem-solving opportunities, students develop into confident learners who better understand the world they live in and their role within it.
